JARED ETZEL

Jared grew up on the Beaux Freres Vineyard and was schooled in Enology and Viticulture at Oregon State University. He worked vintages at Cristom and Brick House Vineyards before traveling to Spain where he worked at Artadi & Clos Erasmus. Before developing Domaine Roy, Jared moved to California where he worked with Fisher Vineyards, Kapcsandy, and Blankiet. Jared's inspiration comes from the many organic and biodynamic estate vineyards making soulful wines specific to their site and vintage.

 The mission of the founders is to produce Oregon ‘Grands Cru’ Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from superior vineyard sites in the heart of the Willamette Valley. Domaine Roy & fils wines exhibit an uncompromised purity and transparency that allows for a full expression of vintage and terroir.

Sales & Operations

alain plamondon

As a partner, Alain oversees the overall administration and finance as well as the East Coast & Export Sales. Alain has been with the Roy family since 2006 in Montreal. In 2015, he moved to Oregon with his wife and children.

ashley barg

Ashley is the West Coast Sales Manager and Direct to Consumer Manager at Domaine Roy & fils. With her vast experience in wine, culinary arts, and Michelin Star service, Ashley brings a high level of hospitality and knowledge to the team. Ashley is an Oregon native, who has spent the last 3 years in Napa, California, working at The French Laundry and Realm Cellars.

Production

Scott sabadini

Scott supports the winemaking team as an associate winemaker. He spends his time both in the cellar and in the vineyard.
