Bottle shot of our 2022 Dundee Hills Rosé of Pinot Noir

new release

2022 Rosé of pinot noir

winemaker notes

For the 2022 vintage, we are excited to welcome our first Dundee Hills Rosé of Pinot Noir. This wine is fresh and youthful, with aromas of bright apricot, mandarin orange peel, and yellow peach. The palate is crisp and acid-driven– it is everything we want from a Rosé and begs for beautiful days ahead to enjoy.

winemaking details

Sourced from block 2 of our Dundee Hills Estate, the Iron Filbert Vineyard. The Pinot Noir clonal section includes Dijon 115, 667, and Pommard 4. We sorted the fruit early in the morning, foot treaded 50% whole cluster, and left it 24 hours on the skins before pressing. We racked the juice into a stainless tank directly after pressing for fermentation. Full primary fermentation occurred in the stainless tank before being moved to neutral French Oak barrels for secondary fermentation and aging. The wine went through partial malolactic fermentation. Alcohol of 13.5%.

wine information

Fruit for this wine was sourced from our organically farmed Iron Filbert Vineyard in the Dundee Hills. 230 cases were produced in 2022.
